Help BCBH Raise $30,000 in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge!

Did you know that the BC Bereavement Helpline (BCBH) is the only free grief-specific support helpline in Canada? Since 1988, BCBH has been committed to being a provincial leader in the service, education, advocacy and research of dying, death and bereavement.

Our goal is to fundraise $30,000. Donations received through the Charity Challenge will be put towards the following areas:

  • Creation of a sudden death by substance abuse support group
  • Expansion of our services via additional  facilitator training for those living on Vancouver Island, the Interior and Northern BC
  • Full time staffing of the BC Bereavement Helpline 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday

There are two ways to support BCBH:

Make a direct donation to BCBH to help bring more grief support services to more people in British Columbia including additional homicide loss and our new suicide loss support groups. Please click here to make a donation for BCBH and the Charity Challenge.

You can run in the 1/2 Marathon, the 5K run, or walk the 5K course – all in support of BCBH!
